  • Customer Verifications Officer

The Job :

  • Verify information provided by customers who create savings accounts through our digital platform.
  • Carry out audio and video calls with customers as part of the verification process.
  • Verify them in accordance with regulatory standards by performing digital verification searches, documenting and requesting supporting information where applicable.
  • Cross reference and confirm customer documentation, using both internal and external references.
  • Identifying trends and unusual activity and reporting where appropriate.
  • Complete all CDD/ KYC checks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide top quality internal and external customer service to meet "Service from Heart" quality standards.

The Person :

  • Successful completion of G.C.E Advanced Level.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Verbal and Written) with an outgoing personality Ability to read and speak in Tamil will be a definite plus.
  • Willingness to work on rosters / shifts.
  • Fair knowledge in financial industry with a flair for Customer Service.
  • Customer centric and excellent relationship management skills.
  • Candidates from Colombo and Colombo suburbs are encouraged to apply.

✥ You are essential to maintaining the accuracy of customer accounts and transactions in your capacity as a customer verification officer. Verifying the identity of customers is your primary duty; this can usually be done in a number of ways, including document review, background checks, and verification calls. You keep an eye out for and stop fraudulent activity while making sure that internal policies and regulatory requirements are followed. In this position, it is imperative to have excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a dedication to maintaining confidentiality. You might also work with other departments to look into questionable activities and maintain the general security and reliability of the company's operations.
