  • Finance Assistant


Duties & Responsibilities  :


  • Handling Cheque Payments relating to the motor claims.
  • Arrange the SLIP Payment file.
  • Answering branch Telephone calls & solving their motor claim related problems.
  • Check consistency between vouchers with the relevant claim files.
  • Making the paid files with 'paid stamp" & finally claims prepared for the signatures.
  •  Arrange original Tax Invoices for the monthly tax calculations.

Qualifications & Pre-requisites :

  • Passed G.C.E A/L with 03 main subjects in one sitting (excluding General English) and passed G.C.E O/L with credit passes for Mathematics, English, Sinhala/ Tamil And
  • Professional qualification in completion of 1st level of CA Sri Lanka /CIMA/ACCA/CMA
  • Knowledge in Accounting Standards and Laws and regulation relating to Finance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Age preferably below 26 years.

✥ In order to support the financial department, a finance assistant is in charge of handling financial records, processing invoices, keeping tabs on expenses, creating financial reports, and helping with forecasting and budgeting. To guarantee the accuracy of financial data, they might also take care of data entry, account reconciliation, payment processing, and communication with internal teams and outside vendors. The ability to use financial software well, have a keen eye for detail, and understand accounting principles are essential for this position.
