Cashier

Responsibilities :

Greeting customers with a professional demeanor.

Accurately calculating and collecting payments for automotive services, parts, and products.

Effectively operating cash registers, credit card machines, and other payment-related equipment.

Verifying and reconciling invoices to ensure accuracy and consistency with delivered services or products.

Responsible cash handling, including counting and verifying cash drawer at start and end of each day, reporting any discrepancies to management on time.

Requirements :

Age Below 18 - 30 years.

G.C.E. O/L & A/L qualification mandatory.

Part qualified in AAT or equivalent.

Previous cashier experience, preferably in the automotive industry.

Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

An enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude.

Ability to carry out tasks systematically and accurately under pressure.

Clear communication and interpersonal skills. years.

✥ In a retail or service setting, a cashier is in charge of overseeing client transactions. Important responsibilities include scanning merchandise, taking payments, providing receipts, and closing the cash register at the conclusion of each shift. In addition to handling complaints or questions from customers, cashiers are expected to keep the checkout area neat and orderly and to deliver exceptional customer service. They should be able to work effectively in hectic environments, handle cash or credit card transactions with ease, and perform basic math calculations with ease.
