  • Human Resource Assistant


Duties & Responsibilities  :


  • Assess the individual competencies, needs for development based on the information identified through competency gap evaluation tools, performance appraisals within a specific time frame.
  • Prepare the annual training planner/training calendar based on the training need assessments and ensure it will be executed as per the schedules.
  • Arrange and coordinate the pre-planned training programs of all types (in-house, external and overseas) aligning with the training planner and attend to performance improvement plans based on needs identified throughout the year.
  • Carryout post training evaluations and analyze the outcome of such training programs to ensure the ROI for the betterment of the company and the development of employees as well.
  • Involving and assessing the payments related to all training and development activities.
  • Prepare and review JDs for all categories of employees and ensure JDs are available for all employees.
  • Ensure signing-off of KPI sheets annually (beginning of each year) for all categories of employees and maintain proper documentation.
  • Conduct Mid-Year and Year-End Evaluations of Performance Appraisals for all categories of employees and provide accurate and timely reports for necessary parties.
  • Assist in developing Employee Talent Pool.
  • Coordinate/Attend to address issues related to human resources development activities (along with user departments)

Qualifications & Pre-requisites :

  • Passed G.C.E (A/L) with 3 main subjects in one sitting excluding General English and Passed G.C.E (O/L) with Credit passes for Sinhala/ Tamil, English & Mathematics with part professional qualification in HR.
  • Attention to details with high command of analytical skills.
  • Sound knowledge in MS Office, Language and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous experience in HR/ Administration will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably age below 35 years.
