Accountant

🔎 Sri Lanka Telecom is in search for high caliber, result-oriented, qualified individuals capable of playing a key role in the finance team. You will be engaged in a range of tasks in financial and management accounting in a highly IT-backed work environment and expected to collaborate with cross-functional departments to implement key business drivers and operational controls.

Personal Profile :

Associate Membership of ICA/CIMA/ACCA. AND

Be a resilient leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Oracle experience in CRM & ERP systems will be an added advantage.

Preference will be given to the candidates who have professional qualification and post qualifying experience in a large organizations.

Four-year full-time Degree in Accountancy/Finance from a University/Institute recognized by UGC - Sri Lanka equivalent to SLQF 6 will be an added advantage.

The Offers / Conditions :

Upper age limit is 35 years as at application closing date.

Appointments will be on permanent basis subject to one-year probation period.

The successful candidates would be provided with a competitive remuneration package on par with the industry standards and other fringe benefits.

Job Responsibilities :

Manage and oversee content creation, coordinate with content providers, and ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Implement measures to maintain high standards and adhere to regulations.

have good typing skills in English and Sinhala.

✥ Supporting the management and coordination of content for Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms is the duty of the Assistant Coordinator, OTT Content Affairs. In order to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance, this role involves helping with the scheduling, organizing, and tracking of digital media content. In addition, the Assistant Coordinator works with vendors, internal teams, and content creators to support metadata management, content acquisition, and platform guidelines compliance. Ad-Sales Specialist

Job Responsibilities :

Manage the existing clientele by facilitating opportunities to place adverts under the approvals taken by the management.

Responsible to introduce new ad-sales accounts.

Design strategies to achieve the monthly ad-sales target set by the Divisional Head.

Responsible to prepare a monthly sales plan.

Manage clients' inquiries.

Retain the existing customers by offering advertising proposals on continuous basis to gain revenue.

Responsible to collect payments before 90 Days of the completion of the advertising period.

Responsible to deliver the invoices and transformation sheets to the client on time.

Educate the clients with special events and facilitate advertising opportunities fit in to each event.

The ideal candidate should :

possess a bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing, or part qualification from a recognized professional institute (CIM/SLIM) or equivalent qualification in relevant field.
possess 2 to 3 years proven experience in advertising sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

be self-driven and self-motivated.

have the ability to work with minimum supervision.

be fluent in Sinhala and English (Tamil would be added advantage).
