🔎 We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Accountant in the International Cricket, Domestic Cricket, and Marketing Departments at Sri Lanka Cricket.

  • Assistant Accountant

Main Job Responsibilities :

  • Assisting in the preparation and management of budgets for cricket tournaments.
  • Recording and reconciling financial transactions related to event expenses, ticket sales, sponsorships, and more.
  • Collaborating closely with event management teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
  • Monitoring accounts and financial data to identify discrepancies and proactively address issues.
  • Participating in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Liaising with external partners, vendors, and sponsors to manage financial interactions effectively.
  • Maintaining compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Intermediate qualification of ICASL or equivalent qualification from CMA/ACCA.
  • University degree in Accounting/Finance would be a definite advantage.
  • Passion for cricket and a good understanding of the sports industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic sports environment.
  • Independent work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
