✥ The Program will be specialized to upgrade your expertise from piston engine maintenance to the maintenance of pressurized gas turbine aircraft used in modern commercial aviation. This training is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed for success in our dynamic environment.  You will undergo a training program during which you will be paid an apprenticeship allowance. Duration of the training programme will be one-year. The training program will develop and prepare you for the career as a Junior Aircraft Technician.

Requirements  :


  • A CAASL IS 147 or EASA Part 147 approved full-time basic aircraft maintenance course in Category B1.2 conducted by a CAASL IS 147 or EASA Part 147 approved Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation. AND
  • 6 passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credit passes (or equivalent) including credits for English, Mathematics and Science obtained in one sitting. (The credit for English may be obtained at any sitting)
  • Be a Sri Lankan citizen.
  • Upper age limit: 35 years as at 20th September 2024 which is the closing date.
  • Candidates who excel in the selection process will be offered a training contract. Upon successful completion of the training period, candidates will be employed as Junior Aircraft Technicians. Both the training and subsequent employment will be subject to a bond.

✥ By carrying out planned maintenance, repairs, and inspections, an aircraft maintenance technician is in charge of guaranteeing the aircraft's airworthiness, safety, and functionality. In addition to identifying and resolving any mechanical or technical issues, their responsibilities also include servicing and inspecting engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized systems, and electrical components. They have to adhere to stringent safety laws and manufacturer instructions, troubleshoot issues with diagnostic tools, and keep thorough records of everything they do. For this position to guarantee that aircraft are prepared for safe flight, a high level of attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the capacity to function under pressure are necessary.
